Fish Applique Class

I recently taught my fish applique class to fellow guild members of Foothill Quilters Guild. I wish to share some of the steps to making this quilt. I use a pattern I drew form a Picasso Triggerfish that I photographed last summer in Kauai.

Now here are some pictures of my students work. I am really impressed how different they all are in appearance because of the different choices of fabric.

Mizzou Quilts

It seems that Missouri University has the Mizzou nickname and the tiger for its mascot! How do I know this? This week I have made 2 Mizzou T shirt quilts and 3 in total. They are really nice quilts to make and I think its the good colour combinations for the school.

Hope you enjoy looking at all three Mizzou quilts.

Notable Woman's Initiative Book

I just found out a book has been made about the Notable Woman's Exhibit at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon. I looked up the website and guess what my quilt had made the cover and was the first featured quilt!

If you click on preview you can see the whole book. I must admit I did order a copy almost immediately!
