These quilts I have made more recently. On my Teaching page you will be able to see step by step photos of my raw edge fabric collage technique as the basilisk quilt was made.
If you click on some of the quilts they will enlarge.
Notes of Hope
This quilt will be shown at Sacred Threads 2025. The colorful notes that I printed onto fabric can be found attached to the Foresthill Bridge, CA. It’s the second highest bridge in the USA and is the site for many suicides. These notes are encouraging, offering options, phom=ne numbers etc.
Christmas Collage
This “quilt as you go” pattern is available in my shop. It contains 16 different patterns mostly letter sized. They can be quilted by machine or as I did hand stitched. The blocks were then arranged improv style, fitting them together to form the quilt.
Pieces of my Life
This quilt I made using Heidi Parkes online workshop she did for the virtual Quiltcon of 2021 called a Vignette's Quilt.
I used textile items I had saved, things important to me, vintage family items and things or blocks I had made. The sis the first quilt I made for myself and I hand quilted about half of it.
“Let’s talk Color”
This quilt was selected for Quilt National 2025 and is currently at The Dairy Barn, Athens, OH and will then be on tour.
My chicken quilt celebrates colorful individuals and how should be able to celebrate who we are no matter the color of our skin or feathers!
Pacific Oceanlife
This was my first large quilt that I made using raw edge fabric Collage technique. It was the first quilt I entered into quilt show. I won Best Novice quilter at the local county fair and then it was accepted into Paducah in 2004
