Join me for a 3 hr Zoom workshop on July 9th at 9-12pm Pacific Time. ( I am in California) and begin work on the Gracie the Giraffe pattern. The giraffe head measures about 22” x 16” at the widest point. You will be sent the giraffe printed over 6 pages that you need to tape together and the instructions. My pattern does include a guide where to use dark, medium and light fabrics.

In the workshop I will show various examples of giraffe quilts I have made, I will demonstrate my technique and talk about finishing and stitching this project. There will be time for you to work on this project during the workshop. This is a large project and in class time you will make a start working on the face, making the eyes and nose, at least. I will hold a further bonus Zoom on Friday July 10th at 9am for 1 hr where we can share progress made and I will answer any further questions. This Zoom is not required and both Zoom sessions will be recorded.

Once registered and paid I will send out a Supply List, Pattern and Instructions as a PDF file. You should print these out and tape the giraffe together. You will also receive the Zoom link which is the same for both sessions.

This workshop will be recorded and the link made available for 2 weeks after the class.

You can work in a colorful fabric palette or make something more realistic. This is a great project for scraps. My finished giraffe on a background measures about 18” x 24”
